  2. Hire a personal trainer- Taking a few lessons with a personal trainer will help ensure your body is in proper alignment while you’re working out, which can go a long way toward protecting you from exercise injuries.
  3. Act your age- That means that when you're 40, you can't train like you did when you were 20.  A good trainer can help you figure out the right intensity for you, that generates results but avoids injury.
  4. Warm up before every session – Warming up is a great way to slowly build the pace of your workout over time.
  5. Don’t overdo it- When you repeat the same muscle movements too often it can lead to overuse and repetitive use injuries.
